Cabinet signs are also commonly known as light box signs. They’re best used to display eye-catching graphics that would make using channel letters difficult. Cabinet signs give the graphic designer more leeway, since the sign is being placed on a background, as opposed to each letter being mounted separately. A cabinet sign can be illuminated by its background to make it stand out at night. Sign faces are usually made of acrylic or Lexan and can be used both indoors and out.
